2. Join or host
Request to join a trip and meet your travel buddies, or host your own and set the itinerary, budget and group size. Verified hosts, reviews and traveller ratings help you travel with confidence.
3. Travel together
Coordinate in the group chat, run polls for decisions, split shared expenses, share a packing list and documents, and relive it all in a shared photo album — all built in.

Tripmates is a community platform for group travel — discover and join group trips hosted by other travellers, or host your own. Find travel buddies, split costs, and coordinate everything in one place.
How do I join a group trip?
Browse trips, open one you like, and tap "Request to join". The host approves your request (or it's instant, depending on the trip). Once approved you get access to the group chat, polls, packing list and shared expenses.
Is it safe to travel with strangers?
Hosts can be identity-verified (KYC) and carry ratings and reviews. You can rate co-travellers, block users, and choose women-only trips for an added layer of safety.
How much does it cost to host or join a trip?
Creating an account and browsing is free. Each trip sets its own price per person, decided by the host. You arrange payment for the trip cost directly, so you stay in control.
Can I host my own trip?
Yes — anyone can host. Set your destination, dates, budget, group size and itinerary, choose auto or manual approval, and publish. You can even clone a past trip as a template.
